Below are definitions to some of items relevant to this bargain.
Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
A written agreement between an employer and a union setting forth the terms and conditions of employment or containing provisions in regard to rates of pay, hours of work or other working conditions of employees.
Health Savings Account (HSA)
A health savings account (HSA) is a tax-advantaged medical savings account available to taxpayers in the United States who are enrolled in a high-deductible health plan (HDHP). The funds contributed to an account are not subject to federal income tax at the time of deposit.
High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP)
In the United States, a high-deductible health plan (HDHP) is a health insurance plan with lower premiums and higher deductibles than a traditional health plan. Being covered by an HDHP is also a requirement for having a health savings account.
Pension and Insurance Agreement (P&I)
The written agreement between an employer and a union that covers pensions, insurance plans and employee savings plans.
Primary Care Physician (PCP)
A physician who provides both the first contact for a person with an undiagnosed health concern as well as continuing care of varied medical conditions, not limited by cause, organ system or diagnosis.
