The United Steelworkers (USW) announced Friday morning that it has chosen BF Goodrich/Michelin as the Target Company for pattern bargaining on a new labor agreement.
"Even though we were not selected as the target, we will continue our ongoing negotiations with the Steelworkers to reach an agreement that is fair to all stakeholders and enhances Goodyear's ability to win with customers," said Jim Allen, Goodyear's director of global labor relations. He said negotiations would continue in Cincinnati until a new agreement is reached.
