Representatives from Goodyear and the United Steelworkers (USW) arrived in Cincinnati today to begin preparing proposals for a new master contract. Talks are set to officially begin on June 9, when the two sides will meet jointly for the first time. Key officials from Goodyear are expected to address the group.

The current three-year agreement will expire on July 22, 2006.
