2006 Master Contract Negotiations Fact Sheet

• The current three-year contract expires on July 22, 2006.
• Formal negotiations are scheduled to begin on June 9, 2006.
• Bargaining will take place in Cincinnati, Ohio.
• The contract covers approximately 12,600 active associates in the U.S.
• The 12 plants covered under the master agreement are:

North American Tire

• Akron, Ohio - racing tires
• Buffalo, NY - passenger, truck and motorcycle tires
• Danville, Va. - truck and aircraft tires
• Fayetteville, NC - passenger tires
• Gadsden, Ala. - passenger tires
• Topeka, Kan. - truck and off-the-road tires
• Tyler, Texas - passenger tires
• Union City, Tenn. - passenger tires

Engineered Products

• Lincoln, Neb. - power transmission belts, hose products
• Marysville, Ohio - conveyor belts, sheet rubber
• St. Marys, Ohio - molded rubber products, rubber track
• Sun Prairie, Wisc. - hose products
