Goodyear/USW 2009 Master Contract Negotiations Facts


  • The current contract has been extended until August 15, 2009.
  • Bargaining takes place in Cincinnati, Ohio.
  • The contract covers approximately 10,300 associates in the U.S.
  • The 7 plants covered under the master agreement are:
    1. Akron, Ohio – Race Tires
    2. Buffalo, NY –  Consumer, Commercial Truck and Motorcycle Tires
    3. Danville, Va. – Commercial Truck and Aviation Tires
    4. Fayetteville, NC – Consumer Tires
    5. Gadsden, Ala. – Consumer Tires
    6. Topeka, Kan. – Commercial Truck and Off-The-Road Tires
    7. Union City, Tenn. – Consumer Tires
